About me

Employed by my Fathers commercial interiors company after qualifying as a Carpenter & Joiner, I worked in London, with him for just over ten years. We worked in a number of large buildings in the city providing bespoke interiors for corporate clients, working to a high specification standard.
Around the time my dad retired, my family started growing and I decided to set out on my own to work more locally to home; I could take my boy to work with me if I wanted to and be available to my wife if she needed me.
We spent eight years in Purley where I served the local area and still service customers to this day (Thank you) and since 2004 have lived just outside Royal Tunbridge Wells.
My customers range in age, from friends of my children who are just getting their own places, to busy families who want the work done to a timescale, done to a high standard, to my elderly customers who prefer to deal with somebody they can trust and who likes a nice cup of tea with their cake!

So what do I actually do? I don't want to bore you with a bulleted list, but there are many jobs I can do. If there's timber involved you can pretty much assume I can do it, and if 'it' needs decorating then I'm your man!

I worked on my longest ever project recently, with the complete renovation of an oast house and barn conversion. As well as complete redecoration throughout both buildings, renovation included revamping an old wooden kitchen; removing, preparing and painting units to bring them up to date (they looked great!) moving the units around and fitting lots of new oak worktops to create a brand new useable space. I made new units to match the old, where there weren't enough to complete the look and made good to parts of the space to bring the whole room together.
